Xe (pronounced Shay) is one of Carnipelago's finest volleyball players, usually paired with Vica Ponto, a team known to all across the Sea of Secrets as Flamingo.

This is a story about how one weekend when the team did not have a match planned, rather than sun herself lazily on the vast Carnopolis beach with her teammate, Xe decides to run off with a moonshine rum distiller and cruise to the notorious Moon Island. There she meets more than she was expecting. She tells her friend Effie Jo Pflughalter about her circuitous route back to her lovely home in Carniville Heights.
